Ode to Mom

Romans 8:28

Numbers 32:23b

and be sure your sin will find you out.
The Bible verses are for my mom, three describe her and two she often quoted.  This picture of a mother calmly reading while her daughter flies off the dresser reminds me of Mom, who, most of the time at least, could keep her head when all about her children losing theirs.   She had ways to cope before there ever was such things as "Mother's Day Out" or "Me Time."   She could cope as long as there were floors to mop; and there were always floors to mop.  She would shoo her children outdoors with orders not to come in until the floors were dry, and her floors took an uncommonly long time to dry.  Here's to Mom, who had a Scripture verse and plan for every season.  I called her blessed.
