Sleep Well

In The Land of Nod

Once again I've waited too long before writing tonight and I'm half asleep as I do so.   I will soon be happily in the Land of Nod myself.   I love pictures of children and their pets.   I know how important  my old dog was to me.   We always slept together and when I stayed up too late doing homework, she'd be somewhat exasperated with me for not going to bed on time.   There came a day, when, because of her age, I had to help her onto the bed.  My parents had her mercifully put down when I was away at college.    I find myself unsure of who they showed mercy, the dog of myself.  Well, I did it, I did just fell asleep at my computer.  Please, sleep well tonight.
