My God of New Beginnings

Isaiah 43:18-19

New International Version (NIV)

18 “Forget the former things;

    do not dwell on the past.

19 See, I am doing a new thing!

    Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

I am making a way in the wilderness

    and streams in the wasteland.

Tonight I will give thanks for my God of new beginnings.  I've had to leave many things behind throughout the years, but I've also carried along things that are truly useless to me.  I pray that God will help me discern what to keep and what to let go.  He knows my future; and He will lead me through what has been laid waste into treasures yet unknown.
