Almost Persuaded

Acts 26:28-29

New International Version (NIV)

28 Then Agrippa said to Paul, “Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?”

29 Paul replied, “Short time or long—I pray to God that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, except for these chains.”

Poor Agrippa, Paul nearly persuaded him to become a Christian.  So tragic, to be only "almost persuaded."  I hope he did make peace with the Savior but that isn't recorded in the Scriptures.  I'll trust in our righteous and just God.  As long at you are breathing, there is hope; but because we don't know what breath will be our last, please don't be almost persuaded.
