Psalm 115:12-15 English Standard Version (ESV)
12 The Lord has remembered us; he will bless us;
he will bless the house of Israel;
he will bless the house of Aaron;
13 he will bless those who fear the Lord,
both the small and the great.
14 May the Lord give you increase,
you and your children!
15 May you be blessed by the Lord,
who made heaven and earth!
Ecclesiastes 3:12-13New International Version (NIV)
12 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. 13 That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.
Ecclesiastes 7:14 New Living Translation (NLT)
14 Enjoy prosperity while you can,
but when hard times strike, realize that both come from God.
Remember that nothing is certain in this life.
More and more I find myself turning to Facebook to find out the status of a loved one. So I liked this old image of someone's family. They had no need of Facebook, even though they had photos on their wall, because they were all together under the same roof. They look blessed, content and strong. Times have changed but a family with God at their core can still be good even if we have to use social media to connect with one other. The ties that bind are blessed indeed.
