A Day to Honor a Man

I've been watching a History Channel show on the life of Martin Luther King, Jr.  He was an imperfect man like many who had their story told in God's Word, but he was also used by God to accomplish His purposes.   God places us all in a place and time for His purpose, and no purpose is too small.   It may be that only God knows what that purpose is; but live knowing that your story will be told in Heaven one glorious day.

Micah 6:8 (NIV)

⁸ He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. 

   And what does the LORD require of you? 

To act justly and to love mercy 

   and to walk humbly^[a] with your God.
