We're having a snow day, possibly a snow week, in this region more accustomed to rain than anything else. Large clumps of snow are clinging to my weeping willow tree, freezing its tears for another day. School children, who pray most fervently for such an event, are enjoying their snow days, parents who still have to go to work... not so much. For those who know the Lord we are reminded how we have been washed whiter than snow.
Psalm 51:7
New King James Version (NKJV)
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
