Yesterday, I watched on Netflix the movie, "Hours" starring Paul Walker, a movie released after his death in a car accident.  That the movie is still with me says something about it's strengths.  Yes, it had it's weaknesses but it also had great strengths most notably in Paul Walker's portrayal of a man determined to keep his premature infant alive while struggling though Hurricane Katrina and it's immediate after effects.  Watching a father reach beyond his endurance to keep his child alive, has me thinking about what my Heavenly Father has done and will do for His children.  It reminds me why God refers to himself as our Father.  A father models God and His characteristics to his children.  Even a bad father is capable of teaching us what God's love as we come to believe in the only perfect Father we will have.
