I wanted to get out of town on my day off yesterday and my husband obliged; however we met up with a snow storm on the drive home. In the dark the snow flakes became streamers of white in our headlights, making it at least once, impossible to see the road. Suddenly my home seemed too far away and I was afraid. Why did I ever want to leave in the first place? Snow is unusual here this late in the season and is normally something I appreciate from afar as it frosts the mountain tops. Psalm 56:3 came to mind last night, and it is a good verse indeed. Whenever I am afraid, my God is my hiding place.
You Are My Hiding Place - Selah
