I was speaking today with someone who is planning to lead a new age forgiveness circle this weekend. For a fee those who attend can experience a false forgiveness, one not bought with the blood of Christ. There was so much I wanted to say but couldn't say because it was in a place where I was not allowed to speak of my Savior. I finally dared to say that they only needed Jesus for forgiveness. The reply was that the circle would be for those who don't come from that background. How sad! How very sad, indeed, it is to not know the forgiveness that can only be found at the foot of the cross. How much more precious is that forgiveness now to me.
