Jesus Loves Mothers

Isaiah 66:13
English Standard Version (ESV)
13 As one whom his mother comforts,
    so I will comfort you;
    you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
John 19:25-27
King James Version (KJV)
25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.

26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!

27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.
Sometimes God calls mothers to be very brave.   I talked some with a mother in our town who lost her 16 year old son in a tragic accident not two years ago.    I was humbled by her courage and the strength of her testimony.  She will live on doing her son proud until that day she joins him in Heaven.  Then there was the mother and daughter of two of the Kansas City shooting victims.  When I watched her press conference you could almost sense her Savior standing beside her.  He knows about mothers, His own having gone through her own suffering on Calvary; and from the cross He cared for her.
Mothers, Jesus loves you.  Yes, He does.
