Keep Running!

Isaiah 48:10
King James Version (KJV)
10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.
1 Peter 1:7
New International Version (NIV)
7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
Hebrews 12:1-2
New International Version (NIV)
12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
I'm still feeling the heat from yet another trip through the refiner's fire today.  Apparently God isn't through with me yet.  I must be a slow learner.  Sigh.  Tonight my husband has brought me an ice cream drumstick to lift my spirits.  Tomorrow will pick myself up and keep running.
