Yes, the beauty found in the heart of a gentle spirit is what lasts; but it's nice to let your light shine. When my father was a young man, one reason he had for not wanting to be a Christian was that all the women dressed in black and had their hair tied in a bun. When my mother looked great, he appreciated it, and told her so. You could say he delighted in her appearance.
Lord, help me to be beautiful from the inside out.
