In the middle of disappointment, hurt, suffering, pain and loss, and even in the middle of just not getting what I want when I want it, I find this verse hard to claim for myself. At the same time, it practically rolls off my tongue when I want to preach it to someone else. Yes, I've been guilty of both a lack of faith and righteous smugness. Still, it's true, ever so true, so I must claim it and own it. I know, I do know that in all things God is working for my good. He's working for your good too. I'm sorry that it hurts.
