Matthew 11:28-30
New International Version (NIV)
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
My health issues and sleep needs collided last night and my sleep was totaled. I'm really, really want to sleep well tonight, but I know well that it doesn't always come easily. Yet, I still have a good hope. Physical rest may be denied but never rest for my soul. Jesus is my protection and comfort in the night watch and my joy in the morning, even if it's a rumpled, heavy-lidded joy.
